Arlene R. Busch

Arlene R. Busch is a Founder of Contego Capital Partners, LLC and a member of the Investment Committee. Her responsibilities include client service, manager selection and asset allocation. Her extensive experience trading many of the hedge fund strategies we invest in gives Contego the rare ability to assess the strength of strategies and their likely results in different market environments.

• Prior to founding Contego, she invested in hedge funds for two family offices.
• Formerly she was Managing Director of worldwide trading for Refco Group, Ltd.
• She previously ran Cresvale Group’s trading operations in options and futures in both Tokyo and London.
• She managed floor brokerage operations for First Options of Chicago, Inc. and James Capel on the London Financial Futures Exchange.
• Ms. Busch began her career as one of the few women floor traders of U.S. Treasury Bond Options at the Chicago Board of Trade.
• She is featured in Robert Koppel’s "Bulls, Bears and Millionaires," a book about successful traders on the world’s leading exchanges.
